Educational Help

With the exposure to the modern techniques of knowledge, the overall intelligence level in the rural areas has considerably increased.  However, due to poor financial conditions, highly intelligent students cannot afford higher  education and post- graduation.  In last fifteen years, we have helped five such brilliant students, who could successfully complete their education and have got suitable jobs for their livelihood.

Right from the inception, the Trust is distributing uniforms, books and notebooks to the poor and needy students in the nearby villages namely Tara & Kharapada.  In last fifteen years, about hundreds of students have been benefited by this scheme. The Trust has adopted a small primary school in the Adivasi pada known as Vadmal Wadi and provides 2 sets of uniforms, books, notebooks, school bags and school kits to all the students of this school who are trying to learn in most difficult conditions. Educational help is offered to poor and needy students who are unable to pay their fees.

Financial Assistance for needy patients

Poor patients from the villages do not have enough money to carry out investigation and perform surgeries even for life threatening ailments. We extend financial support for such cause. We have so far extended financial help to many patients for surgeries (including neurosurgery), and specialized medical treatment. We have also granted financial assistance to the patients for various medical treatments like cancer, kidney dialysis, knee replacement surgery, etc.

Medical Camps

Medical camps are organized periodically by the Trust in collaboration with companies like Cipla Laboratories, S. Hardilia Pvt. Ltd. and Charak Pharmaceuticals and with like minded Trusts such as Archana Trust, Mumbai and Dr. M.L. Dhawale Memorial Trust, Mumbai. These trusts extend cooperation by way of organizing team of doctors for such camps. People in the surrounding areas take benefit of these camps. During the camps patients are examined by renowned Physicians/Surgeons in the respective faculties, free medicines are distributed, and proper follow ups are done at the Medical Centre.

S. Hardilia Pvt. Ltd. conducts Eye camp and on examining the patients distributes free spectacles to the patients as per the requirement. Almost 25 free surgeries of cataract are performed after the camp in the designated hospital with lens implant. So far more than 150 patients are benefited by these surgeries.

Publication Of Books

We believe in spreading the knowledge by way of publishing important books and making them available to public at a subsidized price.  We have observed that the philosophy of human life as told by Lord Krishna in the Holy Bhagwad Geeta has not reached to the grass root of Hindus spread all over the country. We have therefore, made an attempt to convey the teachings of Bhagwad Geeta in the simplest language and form. So far, the Trust has published two books on Bhagwad Geeta, namely, “Vishwamohini Geeta” written by Dr. Shriram Bhatkhande, a well-known Sanskrit Scholar from Thane and “Vasudev Vagvenu” written by Dr. Uma Vaidya, Vice Chancellor of Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek.  Both the books are available at  a subsidized price at our temple premises.  The Trust has plans to publish some more books through a separate institution devoted totally to research work in the field of education.  We have also published a book on Bhagwan Vishnu, titled “Vishnumoorte Namastubhyam” written by famous author and scholar Dr. G.B. Deglurkar, Vice Chancellor of Deccan College Research Institute, Pune.
